Using a TCP/IP network, StorageTek® Library Attach software provides a seamless connection between Windows 2000 or Windows NT backup applications and StorageTek Library Manager, ACSLS Manager™ or LibraryStation software.

Opens libraries to Windows
Library Attach is necessary only if a backup application is running under Windows NT or Windows 2000, and if ACSLS, LibraryStation, or Library Manager is being used to control a library. Library Attach runs as a service on a Windows computer and is required to use these StorageTek products with either Windows system.
